ABOUT
Since WAFTA was founded over 25 years ago, the work of our members has matured and developed in extraordinary ways. To ensure we continue to push the boundaries, WAFTA will be hosting a juried exhibition to provide the best possible platform for our members to demonstrate their unique creative talents.
This juried exhibition will offer an opportunity for WAFTA members to demonstrate the cross-fertilisation of established textile techniques as well as the invitation to incorporate the sympathetic fusion of other mediums.
Members will be asked to expand the boundaries where textiles have been traditionally rooted to create innovative and unique “crossover” artworks.
Artworks selected for the exhibition will feature innovative work which demonstrates a purity of design and clarity of thought process.
twentyFIVE+ will be held at The Holmes a Court Gallery @ no. 10, 10 Douglas Street, West Perth from 21 October 2022 to 13 November 2022.
Selection will be by a panel of three acknowledged experts. The exhibition will be curated.
