Welcome to our second interview for this year!

Aboriginal artist and weaver, Lea Taylor. Lea traces her descendants from the Menang, Koreng and Wadandi people, who guide her to create vessels and other woven work in a traditional style. Today she describes her personal journey and how traditional weaving has helped her emotionally, spiritually and professionally. She now runs workshops which hold space for women to create with their hands while they listen and talk - it becomes a healing experience for them to create in this way.

Lea Taylor's workshops via Facebook - new workshops will be listed on the Events page, and are held at various centres around Perth/Perth Hills.
