Katrina Virgona will be presenting a full day Remnants and Reminders 3D textiles workshop on September 7. Learn how to construct simple 3D wire armatures to then wrap in textiles and embellish with stitch.

Come and re-purpose those special remnants from your stash. Your finished piece will be infused with memories and new meanings ready to hang on a wall or sit on a shelf..
This will be a wonderful day with a fabulous teacher! Katrina is a highly experienced artist and teacher with skills in a wide range of textile techniques. She conducts art and textile workshops, and teaches art theory in the School of Media, Creative Arts and Social Inquiry at Curtin University.
In her studio practice, Katrina creates 3D works and contemporary textile jewellery pieces, drawing on a diverse range of materials including wool, wire, wood, metal, fur and hair.
