As a departing Committee Member, we would like to publicly thank Lorelie Smit for her service to WAFTA. Lorelie served on the WAFTA Committee as the representative for the South West Region for four years. Working with her fibre arts colleagues in the Busselton area, Lorelie has established a strong anchor for the fibre arts community within the South West region. In addition, Lorelie has continued to develop her own creative practice and is an inspiration for upcycling and eco-friend fibre techniques.
