FIBRES WEST SCHOLARSHIP – Successful Applicant announcement

We are delighted to announce that the successful applicant for the WAFTA Fibres West Scholarship is Lorelie Smit.  CONGRATULATIONS Lorelie!

Lorelie submitted a superb application.  In addressing the selection criteria, it was clear Lorelie was a standout candidate.  Lorelie has served on the WAFTA Committee as the representative for the South West Region for four years.  Based in the Busselton area, Lorelie is very active within the fibre arts community of the South West region. Lorelie creative practice and is an inspiration for upcycling and eco-friend fibre techniques.  We wish Lorelie the very best as she participates in the Fibres West programme.  If you would like more information about Lorelie, please see her Instagram feed.
