WAFTA Guest Speaker Program 2026

 

SAVE THE DATE - THIRD TUESDAY OF EACH MONTH

 

The committee is excited to introduce the 2026 Speaker Program, running from May through to November. 

This monthly meeting is an opportunity for members to connect, network, and share ideas within our creative community. Each month, we will welcome a different guest speaker, offering fresh perspectives and inspiration drawn from a wide range of textile practices and experiences.

Our guest speakers will come from diverse textile backgrounds, sharing their knowledge, expertise, and creative journeys. These sessions are designed to spark conversation, deepen understanding, and celebrate the many directions textile art can take. 

After our guest speaker, enjoy time connecting with other members in a relaxed welcoming space as we share our art, ideas and good conversation.

Meetings will be held on the third Tuesday of each month at the Tresillian Arts Centre, 21 Tyrell St, Nedlands.
